Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Scranton with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Pennsylvania may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Convenient location. Never had an issue with the produce. The location meets the needs of the immediate neighborhood, but if you're looking for something new you're not going to find it here. I like the sign that says "Food allergies?" but basically tells you tough luck. Lol.

This store has not been the same since the loss of Jack. More often than not, the food is past expiration date. If not past, very close. Each time I go, the selection of brands lessens. Bowl and Basket brand has taken over and is not an acceptable substitute for most items. Despite the prices being higher than many stores, the quality of produce has to be a C or a D. The worst part though has to be management. The manager is not helpful and often doesn't even know what items he does or does not carry. I started only shopping here for a quick list because it is closest. I think I will just drive the extra few minutes now.

This is about what you expect for a value shopping experience. Sometimes I stop for rotisserie on my way home from work, particularly if I'm working late. I've been disappointed more times than successful because they often don't have them. If you're selling out regularly, maybe make 1 or 2 more? It's never just me. Each time, there is at least one other lamenting with me that there are no chickens left. And it's not like I'm hanging out at the hot cart awaiting additional scrutiny! 10 seconds tops. But if that is 10 seconds, how many others did I not see?! I do like that they carry the Pellman brands.

The baked goods are always amazing. Unfortunately, due to the size of the store, it has no alcohol section, a limited selection of groceries, and there are always long lines at the registers. The prices are pretty high, too, but for things made in-store like bakery and deli foods, it's worth it.

Generally higher end for prices. Bread molds extremely quickly, Ive purchased their "fresh" rolls numerous times only to have them be stale nd molding within the week. Produce as well, molds and goes bad very quickly. In general prices are slightly higher. Meat is generally decent but again unless you catch a sale or have coupons it is priced a bit higher than other stores. Also has a very limited "ethnic food" section. Its difficult to find even basic Asian and Mediterranean ingredients. Staff is ok, depending on who you get. I used to like this store but have noticed steep increase in prices and poorer quality the past year. Sometimes I will go for the convenience, but there are definitely better options and I am often disappointed with this store.
